Fuorisalone 2025 came to life in Portanuova
From 7 to 13 April, Portanuova became a stage for creativity and innovation. Here it was possible to discover the latest trends in design, technology and environmental awareness through a rich programme of installations and events.
At the heart of it all was Portanuova Vertical Connection, a site-specific immersive installation in Piazza Gae Aulenti, created in collaboration with Fuorisalone and Brera Design District and signed by the Evastomper studio. It interpreted the “Connected Worlds” theme of Fuorisalone 2025 through the relationship between urban nature and the city of the future, curated by neurobiologist Stefano Mancuso.
It was not a simple installation, but a true interactive journey inside a layher, modular and zero-impact structure, where artificial intelligence and urban vegetation redesigned the city of the future. But that was not all, because by interacting with AI, you were able to bring the installation to life, creating a personalised video that you could take away with you at the end of the journey, together with a small plant from the installation.
